Transport Trust Shield
Awarded by the Trust to the driver of the
non-preserved/independent sector vehicle scoring highest
marks in the driving sections of the Rally.

The Chairmans Trophies

The Metro Cup
A new cup presented for the first time this year by
Translink to the best urban or inter-urban low floor
vehicle in the Rally.

The Reebur Trophy
Presented by Reeve Burgess Ltd. and awarded to
the midi or minibus (with 33 seats or less) and driver
scoring the highest points in all sections of the Rally.

The Redpath Trophy
Awarded to the vehicle and driver travelling the
furthest distance to attend the Rally. This trophy was
donated by the late Mr. Billy Redpath, a former Trust
member.

The Ludgate Trophy
Presented by Buses magazine and the
Irish Transport Trust in memory of Reg Ludgate, a founder
member of the I.T.T. Reg was a familiar figure at the
Rally and was instrumental in getting it up and running
in the early years. He wrote the Irish
Journey column for Buses magazine for
over thirty years and at the time of his death he was its
longest serving contributor. The trophy will be awarded
to the vehicle, which in the guest judges opinion,
is the best overall entry in the Rally.
