The Redpath Trophy

The Ludgate Trophy

Presented by “Buses” magazine and the Irish Transport Trust in memory of Reg Ludgate, a founder member of the I.T.T. Reg was a familiar figure at the Rally and was instrumental in getting it up and running in the early years. He wrote the “Irish Journey” column for “Buses” magazine for over thirty years and at the time of his death he was its longest serving contributor. The trophy will be awarded to the vehicle, which in the guest judge’s opinion, is the best overall entry in the Rally.
